so i am looking for a place to get my master's degree in library science. i was thinking about going to c.w. post & found this community so i thought i should ask a few questions. if anyone knows anything firsthand about the library/info science program, that would be great. and then generally about the school- i'm from ohio & i have never heard of the school. what is it like in general? are there ar lot of commuters/local people, or do they come from all over? is there a lot of diversity, what is the campus like, what are the students like, what is long island like? i have looked at the website but it is hard to get a sense of a school that way because they are trying so hard to sell themselves. also, if anyone is in a master's program, do you know about assistantships & how stingy or not they are about stipends?
thanks in advance
